Tiddly Inks – Christmas New Release & Baby Blog Hop

Sharing is caring!

I’ll be honest, I like to prepare early for Christmas.  Trying to get a park at the shopping centre, the stress of leaving things until the last minute, and the fact that I usually work a month of weekends as Santa’s own personal photographer leading up to Christmas … well … I prefer to enjoy the last few weeks when the kids are in school.

But … as a designer, it is in my job description to work on Christmas projects from May through to October!  Magazine lead times are up to 6 months, and new stamps are usually released around October, through November.  I actually love it!  Nothing better than working on Christmas stuff when it is actually cold weather, unlike actual Australian Christmas which is always steaming hot and gross!

AND NOW FOR THE BIG SURPRISE!

My fellow Design Team member, Melissa, is having a sweet baby reaaaaal soon, so we have having a surprise baby blog hop for her!

Brennan Card 2 reduced

I used the Tiddly Inks Stamp ‘For The Birds’ (HERE), and added letters to the little birdy cards in Photoshop, as well as the baby name below.  I’ve kept it super, super simple, using E50’s for the cards, B20’s for the birds and E40’s for the branch.

Brennan Card 1 reduced

I ran a line of stitching across the & bottom of the coloured panel, and added simple pattern paper beneath.

Melissa has been on the Tiddly Inks team since close to the beginning and although she has had to take some time off to deliver Brennan, we want her to know she is missed and that we are excited Brennan is here. Please join us in celebrating this happy occasion by hopping along…or even better, by linking your own card to say hi to Melissa. All the details for the blog hop can be found on Tiddlyinks Challenge blog and there is a LINKY tool for you to add your card there as well. We kept this blog hop simple….all the links will open in a new window from Christy’s blog.
Come on over to the Tiddly Ink Challenge blog to celebrate this happy birth and please join in with your own card. There will be a random winner selected from those who link their own card.”

You can check out other amazing new release goodness from the other Tiddly Inks Design Team members HERE.
