Ink Bleed Technique ft The Ink Road Stamps

I’ve been wanting to try this technique for ages, and it’s the first thing I thought of when I saw the Compliments Vol 1 & Vol 2 sets from The Ink Road Stamps.  Not only are they incredible sentiment stamps to create pick-me-up cards for awesome people, but they lend themselves perfectly to this technique.

So … last weekend, after an EPIC day of tiny house painting, I needed a rest day.  Card making is resting, right?!  I stamped out a bunch of the Bun Intended stamps and coloured them in front of a movie in my pj’s … then I realised that they would work perfectly with the Compliments Vol 1 set, and the colours in the hair could be mirrored in this ink bleed technique … so I turned on the video so I could share it with you 🙂

I made a LOT of these cards, and I love that I can have them on hand to send to friends when they need reminding of how awesome they are.  I really do want to send more cards in 2018.
