My first Kenny K Challenge

Sharing is caring!

So excited to bring you a simple, but fun card for the current Kenny K Challenge.

Happy Birthday proof

This stamp is called High Score, a new addition to the Kid Nation range.  You can find it HERE.

I kept the card quite simple … 2015 is the year of the stash dive, people!  This paper is ancient, but it worked so well with the colours I’d already coloured the image with (don’t you love it when that happens?!).  I trimmed down a piece of navy webbing so I could use a little each side to frame the image.  I used double sided tape to stick it down … in hindisight I wish I’d used a little Tombow Monoadhesive on the back of the webbing instead.  Ah well … live and learn.  The greeting is framed by a seriously old school coloured slide frame.  I stamped the ‘Happy Birthday’ greeting from the Sweet Stamp Shop ‘Foxy’ set (now discontinued, but I have a couple left in the shop HERE).  The little blue bird brought to mind games like Angry Birds, Flappy Birds and even Twitter!  He’s stamped in a pale blue ink, part of the Sweet Stamp Shop Mr Octopus set (which is also in the shop HERE).
