Welcome to Day 2 of this 7 Ways in 7 Days video series, exploring ways to use an entire sheet of 12×12 cardstock over 7 fun projects. Yesterday I showed you how to make a 3 tier slider card (if you missed it, you can find that HERE). Today I will be bringing in the versatile Tri Window die from Mama Elephant, and cutting this die just once from green cardstock and once from black cardstock.
I am also introducing a piece of navy blue cardstock from a paper pad I bought at KMart. This paper pad says it is A4, but it is actually a little larger … I’ll show this in the video. There are a couple of things I like about these paper pads … being larger than a regular A4 page, they create a larger card base, perfectly suited to background dies … they are good value for money … there are plain and textured options … and the colours are just divine! This cardstock is 22.8cm x 30.6cm, 210gsm, 8 colours and 40 sheets total. At $12 per paper pad it might seem expensive, but that is 80 card bases at 15c each … not bad!
