I can’t remember the last time I sent a Christmas card, let alone made one! But this Waffleflower set ‘The SEAson’ really appeals to my weird sense of humour, and I’ve been crushing on these embroidery hoop dies for a while … naturally they would be my first Waffleflower sets, and they are FUN!
At first I was planning to create a shaker card (and I may still do that one day), but the acetate I had was quite small, and wouldn’t cover the front of the largest embroidery hoop die. When you don’t have what you need for a project, it’s frustrating, but I’ve learned to make do with what I have, and so I changed my design a tad. I decided to stack 3 embroidery hoop dies, and just give this card a bit of dimension, like a shadowbox collection of under-sea quirkiness. I’m incredibly happy with how it turned out 🙂
