This weeks challenge over on the Tiddly Inks blog is Non-traditional Halloween colours. Even though Halloween isn’t big here in Australia, we do live in a suburb named after an American state … perhaps that’s why we get so many trick or treaters on Halloween! Last year we decided we were sick of annoying the neighbours, so we invited our kids’ friends here for a party. They got to dress up, have fun, and went home with plenty of lollies. It’s our new tradition.
I used a Tiddly Inks spiderweb inside this ‘B’, and shaded the loops with C00, C0 & C1. The web is traced with a black spica pen.
I used Trick or Treat Wryns inside this letter ‘O’. Her hair is Y21, Y23, Y26, Y28. Skin is E50, E51, E53 & R02. The pink is RV21, RV23, RV25 & RV29. Her necklace is coloured with a gold spica pen. The background is C00, C0 & C1
Inside this ‘O’ is Be My Mummy, coloured with YG00, YG01, YG03, YG05, YG06, YG07 & YG09. Skin is E50, E51 & E53. The background is C00, C0 & C1
The pink bazzil cardstock is embossed with swiss dots, and I lightly sponged black distress ink around the edge. A simple piece of fibre is strung across the lower edge (to echo the spiderweb), and the letters are mounted with foam tape.

Wowee!! I concept of this is so awesome! I love the colours too.
This card is Brilliant!
This card is super cute and creative! I absolutely love how you’ve created it! 🙂
What a fantastic idea, and I love the cards. I really don’t like the idea of children going house to house – it’s not safe in this day and age, so to choose a few friends and have the fun in a safe environment is just fantastic. Should be more of it.
What a brlliant project Dawn, I really love the colours you chose x
This card is really awesome! I love the colors, the design, everything!
