I may not have gotten much done today … but I did get inky and make this cute card using the new Lawn Fawn Booyah set!
A few years ago we decided to hold a Halloween party for our kids … for a few reasons.
#1 If they’re partying with friends in the back yard, they’re not knocking on the neighbours’ doors and bothering them.
#2 Safety! Every sweet treat consumed comes from my kitchen, so there’s no danger of drugs disguised as lollies, or stranger danger.
#3 My kids and their friends love to cosplay, so it’s a fun excuse for them to break out the costumes.
#4 It’s a fun way to catch up with friends before the craziness of end-of-school and the Christmas season begins.
So … the card! Here are my ingredients:
Lawn Fawn, Booyah stamp set
Copic Markers: C0, C1
Distress Ink: Tumbled Glass, Faded Jeans, Salty Ocean, Worn Lipstick, Shabby Shutters, Shaded Lilac + tool
Black Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Ranger Archival Ink Jet Black
White Ink – Stampin’ Up, Whisper White
Wink of Stella, clear
Glue Pen + double sided tape + foam tape
White card base (10.5cm x 14.8cm)
White watercolour paper
Black bazzil (scrap)
White cardstock (scrap)
XPress It Blending Card
Mini mister + water
Stitched rectangle die
Scissors + trimmer or ruler/knife/mat
Best of all … I made a video tutorial, so you can watch the whole process, and have a go yourself 😀
