Today I have a video for you, showing you how I made this card, specifically the glossy accents on the cardstock, and the cluster of embellishments on the lower right corner of the card.
Copic Colours include:
Skin: E50, E51, E53, R02
Hair: E31, E33, E35
Red: R20, R21, R22, R24, R27
Black: C1, C2, C4, C6, C8
White: C00, C0, C1
For the cluster, I did some serious stash diving. I pulled out my red, black and white embellishment tubs, and fished around for some interesting bits and pieces. Included are:
White laser cut star felt strip, self adhesive
Red mesh ribbon
Red satin ribbon
Red Button
Red & White butchers twine
Black plastic star
Fundamentals wood veneer circle/star cut-out
Kaisercraft Droplets, brown
Kaisercraft Rhinestones, red
Red mulberry flower
Black brad
Greeting stamped in red ink on white card, matted on black card, from All Occasions from Darkroom Door
Main stamp & Background stamps, Soccer Girl from KennyK Stamps
Card Base, Fundamentals Kraft square precut card base
Pattern paper, Kaisercraft
Clear Embossing ink + clear embossing powder + heat gun
Double sided tape & scissors
The thing I love about embellishment clusters is that they draw the eye, they help fill an empty space (especially when you’re working with small stamps), and they also let you use up goodies you’ve had squirrelled away for years!
