The ‘Lovable Legends’ stamp set from Lawn Fawn is seriously one of my favourite sets … it speaks to my inner geek 😀  Today I was just playing at my desk, and decided this gorgeous Perfectly Plaid ‘Ivy’ pattern paper was just begging to be cut into … so I’ve gone with a teal/lime/white colour scheme.  There’s a video tutorial at the end of this post, but let’s look at the ingredients first.

This card definately classifies as CAS (Clean And Simple) … and I did do a few things while the camera wasn’t rolling (I blame half my family being home unexpectedly resulting in distracting video game gunfire!).  I cut the top edges of the lime cardstock, teal cardstock and vellum using the Lawn Fawn ‘Ocean Wave Border’ dies.  Each piece was cut with a different die from the set (lime/large, teal/small, vellum/medium).  I also placed adhesive on the card front adhered it to the reverse side of the pattern paper, then trimmed it down using my large scissors.  Now … here’s the video … I hope you enjoy this tutorial, maybe even share it with a cardmaking friend 🙂  Have an awesome day!
