Live Lawn Fawn virtual class

Calling all Lawn Fawn fans! Did you know that Lawn Fawn runs ‘Create With Us’ classes live on YouTube? I should also mention that this is FREE! #truestory So, here’s the Who, What, When, Where, How and Why of it all.

Who
Kellie Marie & Jenn Shurkus from Lawn Fawn. I have taken live classes with these ladies several times, and not only are they fun, but I often pick up some interesting tidbits for crafting and LF shopping.

What
1 card + 1 Platform Pop Up Card class featuring recently released (and extremely under-rated) Carrot ‘Bout You stamp set. The card is A2 (which can be translated into A6, of course), and the other project is a Platform Pop Up card (my personal favourite die that has ever been created!).

When
Friday 7th March 5pm PT
However, here in Australia we live in the future, so it’s Saturday 8th March, at the following times …
NSW/ACT/VIC/TAS – 12pm (noon)
SA – 11:30am
QLD – 11am
NT – 10:30am
WA – 9am

Where
YouTube – The video is HERE.

How
There is a handy PDF that you can download HERE so that you can gather your supplies in advance. If you don’t have the exact supplies, you have three options.

1. Look for something in your stash that has some similarities, that you love, or haven’t used yet.
2. Go shopping! I have created a category HERE with everything you’ll need for this class.
3. Instead of crafting along, watch the live and learn some clever tips for your future projects.

Why
Joining a live crafting session gives you the advantage of being able to ask questions as you go along. I know that I’ve often learned interesting things in live Lawn Fawn classes, like how some sets were designed to work together, or interesting ways you can adapt a stamp or die set. Plus, it’s not in the middle of the night, so I’m excited that we can actually join in on this one!

Lawn Fawn have been running these live virtual classes for years, yet somehow I’ve only just discovered all the amazing resources they have to go along with it (like the PDF that lists products, prep and Copic colouring guide)! If you’d like me to do posts like this, with Australian times, for upcoming Lawn Fawn Create With Us classes, let me know!
